Interview: Devin Meireles | Author, The Portuguese Immigrant

Devin Meireles is a talented Luso-Canadian writer who, despite being born in Toronto, has been reconnecting more and more with his Portuguese roots. After the passing of his grandfather, Devin took on the mission of exploring his family’s origins, traditions, and customs on the island of São Miguel. From that journey came his remarkable book titled “The Portuguese Immigrant: Atlantic Heritage Story”.

Devin Meireles é um talentoso escritor luso-canadiano que, apesar de ter nascido em Toronto, tem vindo a aproximar-se cada vez mais das suas raízes portuguesas. Após o falecimento do seu avô, Devin assumiu a missão de explorar as origens, tradições e costumes da sua família na ilha de São Miguel. Dessa jornada nasceu o seu notável livro intitulado “The Portuguese Immigrant: Atlantic Heritage Story”.
