Festa do Monte @ MADEIRA PARK

The Festa da Nossa Senhora do Monte, organized annually by Casa da Madeira of Toronto, is a vibrant celebration of Madeiran culture and devotion to Our Lady of the Mount.

Held in the scenic Madeira Park, up north of Toronto, Canada the festival brings the spirit of Madeira to Toronto with traditional food, lively folk music, and colorful decorations. This event honors the patron saint of Madeira, inviting the community to celebrate with processions, prayers, and festivities reminiscent of those in Funchal. It’s a heartfelt gathering that unites Madeirans and locals alike, keeping the island’s cherished traditions alive across the Atlantic.
