Coincidence indeed! As the author of the Luso British Blog put it, “The name of the friend (and of the friend’s son who also plays an important role) is Meireles, so it’s sort of spooky that in between drafting this review and publishing it I got an email from another Meireles, Devin Meireles, who has just finished writing his own book about Madeira. Quite a coincidence!”
